Parking Your Vehicle
When Stopped
1. Depress the brake pedal firmly.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Change the shift position to
(P.

4. Keep idling the engine for about 10 seconds.
5. Turn off the engine.
Always set the parking brake firmly, in particular if you are park on an incline.
